The BGA is hosting it’s very own first annual educational camp. Despite the ridiculous name this thing is going to be off the fuckin’ chain! It will definitely NOT be a bunch of cool Baristas running around partying all day telling each other how cool they are. It WILL be focused and educational with multiple classroom and hands on learning sessions each day. You’ll get up early, eat, and start learning. Even though the price is by no means pennies it a sweet ass deal considering what you’d pay for independently contracted consultation of the same caliber. I think you’ll see some of the most qualified instructors and Barista minds here teaching incredibly useful practical and theoretical knowledge that will noticeably improve your operations quality and functionality on a day to day basis. There’s also a huge benefit to simply being immersed into this culture as brains are sure to be picked and ideas are sure to sprout from the most unlikely of social situations. Anyway, go. It’ll be awesome.
